Black History Month
The month of October is dedicated to commemorating the history, achievements, and contributions of African and Caribbean cultures in the UK. Every year, Black History Month has a distinct voiced message; this year's theme is Time for Change: Action Not Words. Real change will require widespread support. Black History Month is a time for education, celebration, and reflection. Education broadens our knowledge, resulting in greater representation through actions rather than words. Altum Group, which comprises of Altum Consulting, Azura Search, and Altum Foundation, is committed to expanding our ED&I initiatives.
This year we welcomed interns by partnering with 10,000 Black Interns. The charity aims to improve the prospects of young Black people in the UK by providing paid work experience and internships in 24 industry sectors.
We are passionate about cultivating inclusive environments. Throughout the year, we will be sharing and discussing what representation means to us and why it matters.
